Outreach work is a smaller part (due to time constraints) of the Savio House team's responsibilities but one that can
be highly enriching and worthwhile. There are two main ways in which the Savio House team go
on the road
Roadshows
As part of promotion of the retreat experience the Savio team occasionally go into schools to give
an assembly about Savio House in order to encourage people to come on retreat with their school
group.
Retreats in School
Occasionally some schools want a whole year group to have an experience of Savio House - too many
for us to accomodate for a residential retreat - so Savio House may hve to hit the road and take
the retreat experience into a school. This would often be a class a day for a week (or however long it takes)
who get the Savio experience in minature in the form of a day retreat. These have everything you
would expect of a Savio Retreat and we manage to cram all the fun into one action-packed day.
