Affirmation

We give the young people the opportunity to boost their self-esteem by hearing the good things that their companions have to say about them. After a brainstorm on positive, affirming things we can say about each other, the young people complete a booklet for each other expressing their gratitude, appreciation and admiration.

Re-entry

The purpose of the final morning is to prepare the young people for their return home. Various exercises help them to gather together what they have experienced and anticipate the problems they will face when they try to continue this way of life in their families, at school and among their friends. It is time to come down from ‘the mountain’ and accept the real challenge of being a Christian in a difficult world.
